ODU offers a brand new additional locking kit for the Easy-Clean version of the ODU AMC® Connector. With the locking kit, screw locking is possible in addition to the original Break-Away function. The screw lock offers additional security whenever high vibrations occur.
The locking kit extends the application profile of the ODU AMC® Easy-Clean and improves performance in vibration-disturbed environments. The ODU AMC® Easy-Clean can be used, for example, on a radio device installed in the vehicle and is secured by a 2in1 lock in addition to the Break-Away function by the locking kit. Data and signal transmissions are thus protected even more reliably against connection interruptions.
The simple Break-Away function on the headset also enables the user to quickly change interfaces and systems used.
An upgrade of already integrated ODU AMC® Easy-Clean connectors is possible at any time. The locking kit can be connected to matching ODU AMC® Easy-Clean connector in a user-friendly manner in just a few simple steps.
The locking kit is available for sizes 0,1 and 1.5. The kit is delivered as a complete package up to an order quantity of 250 pieces. Retrofitting is easy. The kit contains a union nut for the cable with a screw mechanism and a nut with thread for the device part.
